Applications for Humanitarian Diplomacy and Peacebuilding Workshop Started

A Workshop on “Humanitarian Diplomacy and Peacebuilding” will be held between October - December 2019, in cooperation between Center for Conflict Analysis and Peace Studies of Ibn Haldun University and Turkish Red Crescent.

Workshop applications continue until September 15, 2019. Humanitarian work includes wars, disasters, political crises and multi-dimensional multi-actor processes that have significant effects on the economic, cultural and political structures of societies and individuals' lives. Based on scientific principles and realities, the “Humanitarian Diplomacy and Peacebuilding” workshop seeks to raise the participants’ awareness about the activities and the institutions that work in the humanitarian field. Within the scope of the workshop, reading program, seminars, field studies and institutional visits related to the main works in the field will be organized.

Applications to the workshop can be lodged on the website of the Turkish Red Crescent until September 15. The workshop, that expects its participants to master English language at an academic level, is open to graduate students. The workshop is going to be held every Saturday between October-December 2019, in Istanbul at Süleymaniye Campus of Ibn Haldun University between 13:00-16:00 hours. The activities of the workshop are free of charge and accommodation and transportation support will not be provided to the participants. Applicants will be notified by email on September 25, 2019 about their participation status.
