IHU Concludes the First and Only University Preferences Festival in Turkey “TercihFest 2021”
The program of 2021 university preference selection TercihFest, the first and only festival in Turkey, came to an end after a fruitful program. The program which was held at the Ibn Haldun University’s Complex on June 26 – August 5, provided guidance and counseling in choosing the right university and department for 250 candidate student from all over Turkey.

TercihFest Hosted Popular Names Holding Highest Positions in the Field of Social Sciences

In the context of the program, each of Ibrahim Eren, former general manager of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), Prof. Teoman Durali, one of the most important philosophers of Turkey, Prof Mücahit Öztürk, IHU’s faculty member and the President of the Green Crescent, Ilker Aycı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Airlines, and Prof. Ibrahim Kalın, Presidential Spokesperson, delivered summit speeches.

In the sessions of the program, Vural Aksankur from the “Hocalara Geldik” team and Gri Koç, the Higher Education Foundations Examination (YKS) motivation and planning specialist, came together with the participant candidate students. They delivered presentations on what the candidates should pay attention to during the selection process as well as on the choice of city, university, department and profession. At the same time, the experts working at the Preference Counseling booths received the candidate students every day and provided support to them in the issues they were curious about.
