Announcement On Support Scholarship Applications

Scholarship applications will be received to be evaluated within the scope of the third paragraph (f) of the 4th article of the Directive on Undergraduate Scholarships and article 4, paragraph one, subparagraph (d) of the Directive on Graduate Scholarships, and meal, dormitory and/or cash aid may be offered to our students who will be eligible for the scholarship, within the scope of the relevant articles.

The food scholarship provides the opportunity to benefit from the cafeteria of our university as of the granting of the scholarship, and the dormitory scholarship provides the opportunity to benefit from the dormitories of our university as of the semester in which the scholarship right is granted. Monthly cash scholarship payments are made on the 15th of each month following the granting of the scholarship right, provided that the conditions determined for cash payments in the directives on scholarships are met.

All scholarship rights within this scope are valid for the relevant academic year and for a maximum of 9 months per year. 

Turkish students and international students from underdeveloped/developing countries that meet the application conditions can apply for the scholarship program by submitting the required documents to their department secretaries on online forms 21-29 January 2026. The applications will be evaluated by the Scholarship Commission in February, and the proposals for the candidates who are deemed eligible for scholarships within the framework of the determined quotas will be submitted to the University Board of Directors. Our students who are entitled to receive scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year with the decision of the University Board of Directors will be informed by their department secretariat.

Application Criteria:

  • Needing financial support,
  • Not getting a cash scholarship from our university,
  • Not working within the scope of SSI (Social Security Insurance),
  • Not having received a disciplinary penalty.

Required Documents For Application:

  • Application petition,
  • Application form and its annexes.

The following documents, if any, can be attached to the petition:

  • Document regarding the scholarship received from another person or institution,
  • Rental contract,
  • Student certificate belonging to their siblings who continue their education,
  • Document showing the disability status of themselves or their first degree relatives,
  • Document showing that they are a child of a martyr/veteran,
  • Document showing that their mother/father has passed away,
  • Document showing that their parents are divorced.
