B. Purpose of the Duty
In accordance with the objectives and principles determined by the senior management of Ibn Haldun University; In order to carry out all the activities necessary to carry out education and training in line with the vision and mission of the Faculty in accordance with the principles of effectiveness and efficiency, it organizes administrative and academic affairs in responsibility to the General Secretariat, Dean and Vice Deans and takes the necessary measures for the effective, efficient and harmonious work of the personnel in the administrative organizations affiliated to the Dean's Office, where it is assigned, within the framework of the legislation.
C. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Fulfills the duties and responsibilities specified in Article 51 (b) of the Higher Education Law No. 2547,
2. Contributes to the determination of the Mission, Vision and Quality Policy of the University and ensures that it is adopted by the faculty secretariat and affiliated unit employees,
3. Determines the objectives of the faculty secretariat and the activities to be carried out to achieve these objectives,
4. In faculties located within a campus structure, the secretariat, consisting of enough specialists and staff under the faculty secretary, carries out the administrative affairs of the faculty,
5. Ensures the division of labor among the administrative staff working at the faculty and makes the necessary supervision and control,
6. The faculty secretary acts as a rapporteur in the Academic General Assembly, Faculty Board, Faculty Executive Board and Faculty Disciplinary Board of the faculty to which he/she is affiliated, without the right to vote,
7. Prepares the agendas of the Faculty, Academic General Assembly, Faculty Board, Faculty Executive Board and Faculty Disciplinary Board; ensures that the decisions taken are written, distributed to the relevant persons, controls and archives them,
8. Paraphrases the letters to be submitted for the Dean's signature,
9. Informs the relevant people about the announcements and announcements received by the faculty,
10. Prepares the Faculty Annual Report,
11. Organizes the flow of documents between units,
12. Directs petitions from students and staff to the relevant places and takes the necessary action,
13. Pay attention to public relations; assist in congresses, seminars, meetings and hospitality services,
14. Knows the legislation related to academic and administrative staff and follows the changes,
15. Ensures coordination between the Dean and full-time and hourly faculty members,
16. Makes the necessary preparations for the safe conduct of educational activities and exams (ÖSYM, AÖF, etc.) at the Faculty,
17. Carries out the necessary procedures to respond to the letters received from institutions/organizations and individuals to the Dean's Office, ensures their archiving and preservation,
18. Ensures the orderly execution and control of faculty student affairs (registration freeze, deregistration, grade change, etc.),
19. Plans and controls the leaves of other administrative staff working at the faculty in a way that will not disrupt the functioning of the faculty,
20. Provides the necessary information to the higher authorities when requested in all these duties and responsibilities.
21. To use the tools and equipment necessary for the work he / she is doing in the field of duty properly and correctly within the framework of occupational health and safety,
22. When necessary, to support other work in the department within the knowledge and guidance of the manager,
23. To engage in continuous professional and personal development,
24. To do other works not mentioned above but serving the purpose of the task.
