Ibn Haldun University Continues Strengthening Relationship with Central Asian Universities
Our university continues to strengthen its relations with Central Asian universities.

Our university continues to strengthen its relations with Central Asian universities and implement productive discussions and effective communications with its cooperation activities. During the month of November, three important visits were made to various universities and institutions. 

After a number of agreements were signed with universities in the Central Asia region, on November 22, a delegation from Ibn Haldun University attended the 6th General Assembly of the Turkic Council Turkic University Union, organized in Ahmet Yesevi University, Turkistan, Kazakhstan. Attending the meeting were universities from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, and Hungary. Various topics were discussed during the General Assembly, such as a discussion and evaluation of the Orkhun Exchange Program, the necessary measures to be taken for the development of the Program as well as the allocating grants for students and organizing internships for the upcoming academic year. Furthermore, Ibn Haldun University's application was approved to the Turkic University Union. 

During the conference, Ibn Haldun University signed an MoU with Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. 

Ibn Haldun University Meets with Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan

On November 8-9, a 2-day visit to Kazan, Tatarstan, our university’s delegates met with the former Prime Minister of Tatarstan, H.E. Mintimer Shaimiev, current Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, H.E. Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tataristan, H.E. Vasil Shayhraziyev, and with State Advisor Mr. Mintimer Shaymiyev. The delegates had explained Ibn Haldun University’s vision and possible areas of collaboration and building mutual projects in social sciences. 

Following the meetings, our delegates then visited the Russian Islamic Institute, the Bashir Remiyev IT Park, and met with the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan. Furthermore, our university visited and held a meeting with one of the most prominent universities in Kazan, the Kazan Federal University, and initial discussions for forming a partnership were discussed. 

Ibn Haldun University Signs MoU with Three University’s in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

On November 10, Three MoU’s were signed with universities on a visit to Tashkent by a delegation from our university. MoU’s were signed with the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the Tashkent State University of Economics, and The National University of Uzbekistan. During our visits to the universities in Tashkent, H.E. Abdukodir Toshkulov, the Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of Uzbekistan joined the meetings and signing ceremonies. 

The signings which have further strengthened our ties with universities in the Central Asian region, which is in line with the university’s internationalization strategy.
