"Muslim Mental Health Conference" was held in Melbourne, Australia on 15-17 November 2018 with the cooperation of our University and Nasihah Consulting.

"Muslim Mental Health Conference" was held in Melbourne, Australia on 15-17 November 2018 with the cooperation of our University and Nasihah Consulting. Our academics participated at the conference were Head of Psychology Department Professor Medaim Yanık, faculty members at Psychology Department; Professor Üzeyir Ok, Dr. Burcu Uysal, and Dr. Senem Eren and the Head of the International Office Enes Yalman. The conference, which was held at the Melbourne Islamic Museum with the participation of respected figures in the fields of Psychiatry and Psychology, focused on important issues as Art Therapy, Faith and Psychology, Religion and Spirituality in Therapeutic Practices from perspective of Islam and Muslim family-society. The delegation, who attended the conference from our university, also held meetings with various cultural and educational institutions in Sydney and Melbourne. Cooperation opportunities were discussed in these talks.
