On Tuesday, August 12, the Chairman of the Board of the Türkiye Beyazay Association, Lokman Ayva, and his accompanying delegation visited our University. During the visit, the “Barrier-Free University” protocol was signed by our University’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan, and Lokman Ayva, Chairman of the Board of the Türkiye Beyazay Association. The protocol encompasses initiatives aimed at enhancing the access of individuals with disabilities to higher education and social life. Within this scope, accessibility projects, awareness-raising activities, collaborations with student clubs and non-governmental organizations, as well as technology and service development initiatives, will be implemented. In addition, the protocol aims to increase academic research in the field of disability studies at the graduate level.
With this collaboration, Ibn Haldun University will continue its efforts to strengthen equal opportunities and inclusive education with determination.
