On the first day of the camp, our Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, and our Rector, Prof. Atilla Arkan, each delivered a welcoming speech.

The Importance of Believing in the Institution and Embracing Its Goals

In his opening speech at the camp, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan emphasized that the progress made on the path to becoming one of Türkiye’s most successful universities is the result of strong teamwork. Highlighting that the institution’s mission and goals are the main source of motivation in this process and stressing the importance of embracing them, Erdoğan pointed out that universities, as living organisms, must constantly renew themselves. Underscoring the necessity of acting with strong communication, sustainable objectives, and an institution-centered approach, he stated that Ibn Haldun University has global ambitions and underlined that all staff should align with this vision, generate new ideas, and embrace the spirit of the Ibn Haldun Family.

Strong Communication and Creative Conflict

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan, began his speech by emphasizing the importance of building an institutional culture in ensuring a secure future. He stated that the effort toward innovation-based production has also been extended to administrative staff and highlighted that human-centered principles should play a guiding role in the working environment. Stressing the significance of advancing on the basis of strong communication and creative conflict, he underlined the need to pursue a development mission focused on artificial intelligence. He also noted that the university has become a point of reference in terms of administrative staff, with the knowledge produced and the programs developed serving as a model for other universities. Drawing attention to the importance of sustainability and teamwork, Arkan concluded his remarks by emphasizing that the dedication and discipline of the administrative staff are crucial to achieving the university’s goals.

On the second day of the camp, following the unit presentations, the program continued with the “Vision and Strategy Workshop” as part of the preparations for the new strategic plan. During the day, plaques were also presented to administrative staff who have completed five years of service at the institution. The final session of the second day was dedicated to a social event organized by the Administrative Staff Club.
