The opening program of the Academics Camp of the International Union of Muslim Scholars took place on Friday, August 14, 2026, at our Başakşehir Complex. Hosted by Ibn Haldun University, the camp brought together members of the International Union of Muslim Scholars and academics from around the world at our University.
Organized with the aspiration to help the young Muslim generation develop conscious, deep-rooted, effective, and sustainable solutions to contemporary challenges in a changing era, the opening program featured speeches by Prof. İrfan Gündüz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ibn Haldun University; Prof. Ali Muhyiddin al-Qaradaghi, President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars; Dr. Mehmet Aksoy, Deputy Mufti of Istanbul; and academic members of the Union.
Aiming to unite the Islamic world to exchange ideas, bring initiatives to life, and address global issues through these enlightened minds, the camp featured a series of sessions and workshops.
