Our University Ranks in the Top 10 Across 8 Programs Nationwide Achieving 100% Placement Rate with Strong Interest from Future Social Scientists
According to the 2026 YKS (Higher Education Institutions Examination) placement results, Ibn Haldun University achieved a 100% placement rate across all undergraduate programs. Ranking among the top 10 nationwide in 8 out of its 11 undergraduate programs, our University also saw an increase in the base ranking thresholds for 9 programs.

Ibn Haldun University has achieved notable success once again according to the 2026 YKS placement results. With a 100% undergraduate placement rate, our University became one of only four foundation universities in Türkiye to fill all available quotas.

Compared to 2025, 9 of our undergraduate programs improved their minimum ranking thresholds, while our University ranked in the top 10 nationwide across 8 of its 11 undergraduate programs. These results reaffirm our University’s strong academic reputation and rising momentum.

Our Programs Ranked in the Top 10 Nationwide

According to the 2026 YKS placement results:

The base ranking threshold of the School of Islamic Studies advanced from 1,204 to 997, maintaining its strong second-place position among all "Theology" and "Islamic Sciences" programs across universities. Furthermore, our Islamic Sciences (Full Scholarship) program achieved significant success by admitting all of its students from within the top 1,000 ranking.

The base ranking threshold of the Department of New Media and Communication advanced from 1,475 to 1,004, maintaining its solid third-place standing among all "New Media," "New Media and Communication," "Media and Visual Arts," and "Media and Communication" programs nationwide.

The base ranking threshold of the Department of History adjusted from 912 to 975, maintaining its sixth-place standing among all History programs nationwide. The Department of History also admitted 100% of its general quota students from the top 1,000 ranking, sustaining its outstanding success from the previous year.

The base ranking threshold of the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling (RPD) rose significantly from 52,769 to 35,000, advancing the department from eighth to second place among all RPD departments across universities.

The base ranking threshold of the Department of Sociology improved from 54,101 to 30,116, climbing from eighth to fifth place among all Sociology departments across universities.

The base ranking threshold of the Department of Political Science and International Relations rose from 9,535 to 8,500, maintaining its eighth-place position among all "Political Science," "Political Science and Public Administration," and "Political Science and International Relations" programs nationwide.

The base ranking threshold of the Department of Psychology advanced from 18,696 to 12,000, climbing from 17th to 10th place among all Psychology departments nationwide and successfully breaking into the top 10.

Entering the Top 10 in Its Inaugural Year

Admitting undergraduate students for the very first time this year, both at our University and across Türkiye, the Department of Philosophy and Artificial Intelligence ranked seventh nationwide among all "Philosophy" and "Philosophy and Artificial Intelligence" departments, with a base ranking of 65,000 and a top ranking of 7,742.

Other Programs with Rising Base Rankings

The base ranking threshold of the Department of Economics improved from 24,016 to 18,683, placing the department 13th among all Economics programs across universities.

The base ranking threshold of the School of Law advanced from 5,182 to 4,603, improving its national standing from 18th to 16th place.

The base ranking threshold of the Department of Management advanced from 18,205 to 11,784, moving up from 24th to 21st place among all Business Administration departments nationwide.

50% of Placed Students Were TercihFest Participants

Prospective students who took part in the 9th edition of TercihFest—designed to offer candidates a comprehensive three-day university experience while guiding them toward the right academic choices—also demonstrated great interest in our programs. Accordingly, nearly 50% of our newly placed students consisted of prospective students who had attended TercihFest.

Additionally, top rankers in Türkiye chose Ibn Haldun University: 4 students ranking in the top 100 in the Verbal (SÖZ) score type and 1 student ranking in the top 250 in the Equal Weight (EA) score type were placed into our Islamic Sciences and Political Science and International Relations programs.
