The 2026 Administrative Staff Consultation and Evaluation Camp took place at the Ibn Haldun University Language Village in Yalova.

Held between September 4–6, 2026, at the Ibn Haldun University Language Village in Yalova with the participation of our administrative staff, the camp kicked off on its first day with welcoming remarks delivered by Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Atilla Arkan, our Rector.

“Everything We Do Must Contribute to Society”

Delivering a speech on the first day of the administrative camp, Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, highlighted a variety of the University's major initiatives, ranging from the IPAM services inaugurated earlier this year at the Darüşşifa to the ongoing revitalization process of the Unkapanı project. Addressing artificial intelligence technologies and digitalization, Erdoğan underscored the significance of integrating these advancements into administrative workflows across the University.

Noting that Ibn Haldun University has embraced societal benefit as a core guiding principle since its establishment, he stated that every undertaking must aim for direct or indirect contributions to society. Expressing his hopes for the upcoming period to bring positive progress for Türkiye and the world, Erdoğan articulated his expectation that Ibn Haldun University will actively serve as an essential driver of this betterment.

“The Future is the Discipline of Possibilities”

In his opening address, our Rector Prof. Atilla Arkan emphasized the vital importance of intellectual heritage, cutting-edge technologies, and high-quality communication between the university and its students. Remarking that “The future is the discipline of possibilities,” Prof. Arkan noted that the will enabling us to envision future opportunities and discern which ones to realize stems from our intellectual depth and heritage.

After evaluating the strong interest shown in the University at both undergraduate and graduate levels this year, our Rector focused on the objectives for the upcoming year. He outlined key institutional priorities, including the initiative to encourage undergraduate students toward academic publishing, the establishment of the Ibn Haldun Social Sciences High School, and steps supporting a "Terror-Free Türkiye."

On the second day of the camp, presentations were followed by a dedicated workshop titled “Working Alongside Artificial Intelligence: New Ways of Doing Business at the University”. The day also featured an introductory session welcoming newly joined administrative personnel, alongside a plaque presentation ceremony honouring team members who reached their fifth year of service at our institution. In the final session of the day, a special activity organized by the Staff Club provided enjoyable and engaging moments for participants.

The Administrative Staff Consultation and Evaluation Camp concluded following internal departmental evaluations and an overall review of the camp.
