On September 24, 2026, Prof. Mehmet Görmez, Rector of Türkiye International Islam Science and Technology University (TİBU), along with an accompanying delegation, visited our university. As part of the visit, our Rector, Prof. Atilla Arkan, and TİBU Rector Prof. Mehmet Görmez signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Academic and Educational Cooperation between the two institutions.
Through this collaboration, a major step forward has been taken toward the exchange of institutional experience between the two universities. The agreement aims to foster comprehensive cooperation across multiple areas, notably institutional development, staff and student mobility and collaborations, and joint research projects.
Characterized by Prof. Görmez as a source of great pride ("Gurur verici bir tablo."), this partnership also carries significant symbolic value as the very first formal protocol executed by the newly established Türkiye International Islamic Science and Technology University.
We hope that this step will be fruitful and beneficial for both universities and the wider academic world.
