Ibn Haldun University has been awarded 5-year full institutional accreditation within the scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) conducted by the Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC). With this result, our university's quality assurance system; encompassing education, research and development, social contribution, and governance processes has been officially certified through a holistic evaluation.
As part of the Institutional Accreditation Program evaluation process, the THEQC Review Team conducted an online preliminary visit on October 20, 2025, which included meetings with the university's senior management and the Quality Commission. The site visit phase of the process took place between November 2–5, 2025.
During the visit, interviews were held with the Board of Trustees, the Rectorate, members of the Senate and Executive Board, the Quality Commission, academic and administrative staff, students, and external stakeholders. The university's governance structure, quality assurance system, and activities in education, research, and social contribution were thoroughly evaluated.
Our University’s Quality-Oriented Management Approach Officially Certified
The Institutional Accreditation Program is an external evaluation program that ensures higher education institutions' quality assurance systems are assessed within the framework of the PDCA (plan-do-check-act) cycle, alongside their education, R&D, social contribution, and management processes. Following the preliminary and site visits, THEQC may grant 5-year full accreditation, 2-year conditional accreditation, or deny accreditation based on the Institutional Accreditation Report prepared by the review team.
In this regard, THEQC’s decision to grant Ibn Haldun University 5-year full institutional accreditation demonstrates that our university’s quality assurance system possesses a sustainable and institutionalized structure.
In line with its quality-oriented management philosophy, Ibn Haldun University will continue to enhance its education, research, and social contribution activities through a continuous improvement approach.
