Air Transport Management Master Program is Launched by Ibn Haldun University
Ibn Haldun University has launched Air Transport Management Master Program in partnership by Turkish Airlines and sponsored by world's leading aircraft producer Airbus. Press launched of the program is organized at the Headquarters of Turkish Airlines.

The event hosted Professor İrfan Gündüz, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ibn Haldun University, İlker Aycı, Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, Thierry Baril, member of the board of directors in Airbus and other guests from the aviation sector. In the openning speech Professor Gündüz said, Turkey has two internationally recognized brands. "One of them is Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the other one is Turkish Airlines" he said.

Professor Gündüz emphasized that the program with and without thesis is jointly organized by Turkish Airlines, a world famous company searching the future in the skies and Ibn Haldun University, searhing the future in the roots of  the civilization. "We are proud to cooperate with two leading companies" said Professor Gündüz, adding "Such cooperation arised from the need of qualified workforce in transportation sector. This cooperation between two institutions will move towards forward. But let me remind you! Becoming a champion may be easy, but staying champion needs to work much harder. Turkish Airlines has a continious growing trend but this has to be sustainable. Therefore these kind of programs proves to support the sustainability of the growth."

İlker Aycı, Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines emphasized that it is very important to start a cooperation with a university with the name of Ibn Haldun, who was a historian and a great thinker. Aycı said, "I hereby thank to Ibn Haldun University for their cooperation to our objective of rising the number of competent work force and to open a new carrier opportunity to our staff." He said Airbus, the sponsor of the master program, is also a great partner of Turkish Airlines. Mr. Aycı mentioned that Ibn Haldun University has a broad perspective to become one of the well-known universities in the world and has a board of trustees to overcome all the obstacles in that direction. "We all will see young generations graduating from our joint master program with Ibn Haldun University and Airbus" he said. Air Transport Management Master Program consists of courses of technology, economics, business and industry dedicated to aeronautics and air transport besides principle theories and administrative science. The master program will give the opportunity to be employed especially in air transport and different production and service sectors as managers. The program will also serve as a strong academic basis for those who will study PhD.
