The program, moderated by Prof. Yusuf Çalışkan, Dean of School of Law, witnessed the participation of Advocate Merve Dülger, Teacher Assistants Meryem Solmaz Bilici, Ahmet Dülger and Ömer Faruk Kafalı, who briefed law students about international moot courts. Speakers at the event shared their experiences as arbitrators and competitors with law students in the subjects: Arbitration of International Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, Young Future Arbitration Lawyer Competition organized by Istanbul Arbitration Center (ISTAC). In addition, information about international law competitions such as "Jessup" and "Nuremberg" were provided to the audience.
In his speech at the program, Professor Çalışkan emphasized that students will be able to put their knowledge in lessons into practice in these competitions, this is a unique opportunity and it is important in terms of students' career and personal development. Professor Çalışkan also stated that faculty members will share their experiences in the field with the students and continue to support them. Moreover, he especially mentioned the benefits of the rich database of the library of Ibn Haldun University.
