The Ibn Haldun University (IHU) Summer School Languages Program offers intensive online instruction in Modern Turkish, Ottoman Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Latin, and English for international students and professionals.

The Ibn Haldun University (IHU) Summer School Languages Program offers intensive online instruction in Modern Turkish, Ottoman Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Latin, and English for international students and professionals. The Program, coordinated and developed in collaboration with the IHU School of Languages and the Department of History, will be held online -for this year- between June 8 and July 24, on IHU Zoom Platform. The English language component of the program will take place over July 7 – August 28. IHU Summer School Deputy Directorate set early application until May 15, and May 29 as the final deadline.

Throughout the program, a wholly immersive experience is designed to comprise co-curricular and extra-curricular activities such as conversation tables and study hours; seminars by top scholars on Turkish history, politics, literature, and art; cultural events, movie screenings and field trips to historical sites and archives, all online and country-specific adjusted to international time differences. IHU Summer Languages Program, which is equivalent to two full semesters of language instruction in a typical US college course, issues personal certificates upon the successful completion of each course.
