Professor Berktay is among the distinguished historians who is invited to attend to the program, organized by the Culture, Arts and Publishing Comittee of Turkish Grand National Assembly. The program aims to host intellectuals to impartially discuss the milestones of the Turkish democracy history. The program will be moderated by Former Turkish Parliamentary Speaker Köksal Toptan and historian Professor İlber Ortaylı and journalist/author Avni Özgürel will be the other speakers. Former and new lawmakers, bureaucrats and media representatives are invited to the program. The program called "Parliament Talks" will be organized under the auspices of the Turkish Parliamentary Speaker İsmail Kahraman, every month with different topics and different guest speakers.
