With the cooperation of the Art, Culture and Sports Department and Başakşehir Municipality, the Writing School program was started with the participation of Poet-Writer A. Ali Ural. The writing School, which aims at contributing to the training of individuals who yearn to benefit the society with their literary productions, held its first lesson on May 23.
During this creative writing training, which is going to last for a year in the first stage, students will explore the answers to many questions such as the principles of effective reading, how fictional literary texts are produced, what the elements and writing techniques of fictional texts are, the sources of inspiration for the production of the text and its relationship with creativity in an interactive workshop. Offering a rich and unique experience for Ibn Haldun University students, the training program will also be supported by assignments, presentations, author meetings and book and movie reviews.
The trainings of the school will be held every Sunday between 18:00-20:00 for a year, via Zoom account of the Department of Art, Culture and Sports.
