Training in Philanthropic Leadership and Management for Non-Profits was Held at Ibn Haldun University
Managers and experts of our country's leading NGOs attended the 4-day " Philanthropic Leadership and Management Training for NGOs" held at our University.

With the joint initiative of Ibn Haldun University Islamic Economics and Finance Research Center and the Muslim Philanthropic Initiative (MPI) at Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, "Leadership and Management Training for NGOs" was held at our University between 13-16 May 2024.

The trainings, which were held with the intense participation of managers and experts from our country's leading non-governmental organizations, were given by Dr. Shariq Siddiqui, who has undertaken international studies in the field of "Charity Studies".

In the opening program of the training held on Monday, May 13, our Rector Prof. Atilla Arkan, our faculty member of the Faculty of Management Sciences and director of our Islamic Economics and Finance Research Center Dr. Nihat Gümüş and instructor Dr. Shariq Siddiqui made a greeting speech.

Following the opening, 16 sessions held over 4 days aimed to develop the administrative, financial, technical and leadership skills of participants who wanted to significantly improve their philanthropic leadership skills.

The program ended on Thursday, May 16, with participants who successfully completed the training being given an Indiana University Muslim Philanthropy Initiative (MPI) participation certificate.
